Defenseman Camp

The only camp in our region specifically for defensemen. This camp will include four on-ice sessions and one video session. We will work on puck recoveries, zone exits, neutral zone transition, gap, angling technique, different options on the offensive blue line, etc. This camp will have a lot of active teaching and each session will end with some three-on-three to apply the different tactics learned in a small area game scenario. As this camp will be focused on tactics, it is reserved for competitive or elite-level defensemen U13-U15-U18.

This camp will only have 12 defensemen. This small number will mean a player/coach ratio of six to one. This setup means that we will be able to work on the fine details of a defenseman’s game.

This camp is for players who were born in 2005 and 2011 inclusively. The four 60-minute on-ice sessions will be held at a cost of $175 per player.
