Just like high-performance motors need high-octane fuel, high-performance athletes need high-performance nutrition. Needless to say that the food athletes put in their bodies is very important. We need to make sure their diet contains the right amount of fruits, vegetables, carbohydrates, and protein. We also recommend staying away from energy drinks (except in between periods), sweets, and any other foods high in sugar. Also, we need to ensure they are well supplied with fuel for the training/practices/games.
